Why does it call to me?

Water.

I did not grow up with it near.

It speaks loudly.

Softly.

Drawing me here.

To be on the edge,

Is more

Than I can comprehend.

The waves call out loudly

Over and over again.

Come closer.

Come closer.

They seem to want to say.

I now Know

to keep moving

So They

Cannot

Pull me away.

  10. having lived at the ocean for years…it calls but the mountians speak louder…

    • being a former kid of the Plains and now surrounded by mountains, they make me claustrophobic sometimes.
