I have been thinking…

Not so unusual.

I do that more often than not.

But the thoughts are more like

a hop,

a skip

and a jump

Than something which feels like grounding.

When we live every moment of our lives

in full view

Then get to enter the shelter of friends,

The torment of emotion and words flies loose.

Continuing to realize

and still know

that we are stuck

between

a rock and a hard place.

  1. I like the journey your words and images take me on. The unsteady vulnerability, to the stable security of knowing and experiencing, to the fact that full freedom and complete redemption are yet to come. . . stops along the way of a life of yearning. May the joy be the fruit of your souls yearnings. blessings.

  2. God’s been talking alot about stability lately, so thank you for your lovely photos.

I need to find my all in Him, any other source of stability, He will knock down, till I lean on nothing else.

  9. “When we live every moment of our lives in full view” – Yes, we do live our lives in full view of whoever is there to witness it, and sometimes, we wish that this were not the case. I really like this poem, it makes me think.

I think it’s clever how you also made a visual presentation of your words! 🙂
