and now sleeping

in a storage of sorts,

with the chenille of my childhood

reaching to the floor.

A temporary place to keep myself

right now

there isn’t thought or energy

for more.

But they all came down and

on it with me

That childish, narrow bed

Knowing that real Empty divides,

yet not seeing what lies ahead.

  1. very interesting.. a verse through images of sorts..

  2. The last two lines are great indeed and somehow promising as distance may connect again. Please have a good start into the new week.

  3. Seeing what lies ahead is quite difficult! At least, it is for me. Nice work.

  4. that empty divides all in box in storage… love it!!!

  5. That chenille bedspread takes me back in time to when I would jump on my grandmother’s bed with the pink chenille.
Isn’t interesting how memories are evoked
