Winter fast appoaches

with silent sounds encroaching

on simple thoughts.

So simple.

With newness in the whiteness,

over wrought beneath the brightness.

So simple.

A season change of welcoming doubt

a difference in the pendulum pout.

So simple.

  1. Am I somehow missing the connectionto the prompt ‘window’? Clue me in.

    • This picture was taken through my daughter’s bedroom window. She has the same picture in her poem, under the name Kim.

  2. Thank you, I can see that now. You poem shows the beauty of approaching winter…as it comes about, so simple yet magnficient to behold the change of seasons. And Alaska, so much earlier than where I live.

  3. Love the ending!

  4. this is really nice!

  5. Perfect pairing of image and word ……….
